We have been awfully spoiled with new Frozen 2 information of late! Only last week we were treated to a brand new trailer:

This second glimpse into the plot of the highly anticipated sequel involved a clearer exploration into what that mysterious mist is that we first saw Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven disappear into. It also showed highly dramatic scenes of purple flames tearing up the enchanted forest they have emerged into, echoing the dramatic evacuation of Arendelle. Elsa and Anna are driven to explore the enchanted forest, and it looks like this might hold the answers as to where Elsa’s powers came from. More importantly, it gave us this monumentally emotional exchange:

It brilliantly showcases their relationship and I just have all the feels about it. Familial love is always a sucker punch to me emotionally, and I already know that Frozen 2 will challenge my cry-count from the first film. (I cried three times during Frozen. One, during Do You Want to Build a Snowman?; twice, when Anna sang “Please don’t shut me out again. Please don’t slam the door.”; and thrice when Anna turned to ice).

Anyhow, today we have been blessed with even more Frozen 2 information, hyping me up even more for that November 22nd release date.

This latest glimpse showcases a new song “Into the Unknown”.

Elsa/Idina Menzel blessing my ears

Dramatic strings stir in the background as Elsa repeats her refrain to ever dizzying heights. Of course, this is going to be compared to “Let It Go” from the first film vocally, but the context seems to be unique enough to warrant the character-driven moment.
