Frozen 2’s approach heralded by the release of its soundtrack

The soundtrack for the much-anticipated Disney sequel is finally here! Listen below.

After what feels like a century since the sequel was announced, it is now only a few days until Frozen 2 hits the cinemas. To whet our appetite, Disney released the soundtrack yesterday (15 November). Personally, I don’t like to listen to soundtracks before seeing films or musicals if I can avoid it, but if you like to hype yourself up with the music, then here it is! Frozen 2 features 8 brand new songs, and from what I’ve heard on the internet it’s hard to predict which will be a breakout hit, such is the high quality.

On the soundtrack, we are treated to an ensemble number “Things Will Never Change” (doubtless before things will change), sung by Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf, Elsa’s solo number “Into the Unknown”, Olaf’s “When I Am Older”, two solo outings by Kristoff with “Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People (Reprise)” and “Lost in the Woods”, followed by Anna’s solo “The Next Right Thing”. Additionally, we have a song sung by Evan Rachel Wood entitled “All is Found” and a duet that she shares with Idina Menzel on “Show Yourself”. Wood’s role has officially been confirmed, but I view it to be a spoiler, so I’m not going to share it with you. Aren’t I polite?

Frozen 2 is released in cinemas November 22nd.
